Shoot 3

Shoot 3

Shoot 3 wasn't brilliant; I was using a camera I was unfamiliar with which resulted in all the images being under exposed. After some post production editing, I am able to see the images better in the contact sheet

I plan to recreate shot 20, where the owner and the horse are looking at each other in a profile view, as it shows the bond between the two, and has a good example of leading lines, and rule of thirds, therefore being a very easy image to look at, while showing the everyday life of somebody who owns horses and therefore allowing an audience to be introduced to that world, especially as the distance it is from the subject; it's not intrusive but more observational.
23 also is one I will keep in mind to recreate, as I'd like to take portraits of the owners with each one of the three horses. I'd probably frame it closer to the subject but I think that that is a good starting point to move forwards from. This will allow me to introduce the viewer to the subjects in a very to the point way, and therefore allowing the audience to grow an emotional connection towards the horses and the people and to also understand the context of the rest of the images.

the other images are harder to see but they don't really stand out to me as anything overly interesting. Because of this, next time I aim to show a more diverse range of activities in order to have a more intriguing range of images to show and progress from.

With this shoot being a failure, I went back to shoot a few days later with a camera I was familiar with.
