Final Ideas #2

After the last shoot, in which I took photos that would work well in my 3x3 grid that I was planning, I have actually decided not to go along with that idea.

This is because I feel that not all of the images actually serve a purpose, and therefore the display would benefit from a smaller number of photographs.
For example, the three portraits in the middle aren't all needed; they all tell the same story and so just one would be sufficient.

I will still be using the working portraits on the lower line that I intended to use as I believe they both show different parts of horse ownership, and different activities, allowing an audience to have greater knowledge over the subject.

The still life images will also be cut. This is because I believe I can show how important the tools are within the portraits of the people working; in the images I want to use you can see the tools by his feet and in his hands, and with the image of the woman we see her fiddling with reigns. To me, that shows clearly enough how important their tools are as they have all their concentration on them.

I will probably end up using just four images. One of the lighthearted portraits from shoot 6, in order to still create that positive atmosphere I am after, the two portraits of the people working and one image from the second shoot, which is of poo picking. This, i believe, gives a better all-round overview of the stables in terms of work, mood and friendship, which is my main aim.
